Main Purpose:
This role will work as part of the Commercial team at the OVO Arena Wembley, reporting to the Commercial Manager. The main purpose of this post is to support all areas of commercial activity and corporate sales and report to the Commercial Manager at OVO Arena Wembley.
Commercial:
1. Assist with off-manifest sales through different channels, using various sales techniques
Corporate Sales/C&E:
2. You will be expected to help drive sales within the conferences and event market at OVO Arena Wembley. This will include various admin duties and being proactive as detailed below
Key Accountabilities:
3. Develop a working knowledge of all aspects of the venue operation to effectively and efficiently meet the needs of our partners and promoters
4. To help achieve financial targets with C&E business whilst maximising all commercial opportunities on live event days
5. Assist in developing and maintaining effective teamwork within departments and offices of ASM Global continuously seeking ways to improve personal, team and business performance
6. To work with the Commercial and Marketing team to deliver comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to achieve commercial growth across all activities at OVO Arena Wembley
7. Undertake relevant duties or reasonable requests as requested by the Commercial Manager and any member of the Senior management team.
8. Work event days as discussed with the Commercial Manager
C&E tasks:
9. Responding to sales enquiries, creating proposals, following up on leads, conducting site visits and raising contracts
10. To work the GM of the Levy (in house catering operations) and the venue Operations Team when creating C&E quotes
11. To liaise with the Programming Team with diary management when pencilling and confirming events
12. To keep marketing pages up to date for corporate listings and agencies
13. To effectively help plan and develop further marketing for C&E promotion
14. Maintaining & building relationships with partners, promoters, venue agencies, event planners and industry contacts
15. Provide weekly reports to the Commercial Manager on event sales and live enquiry activity which demonstrates a proactive approach to driving awareness and engagement
16. Represent the Commercial team at site visits, networking events, exhibitions and familiarisation trips as necessary.
Commercial tasks:
17. Assisting with the sale of ad hoc packages and admin duties such as taking payment, issuing tickets and following up with the customers pre-show to ensure a great customer experience before they arrive at the venue
18. Pre-show terrace suite and club seat checks, making sure all app leaflets and in seat delivery signage is in place
19. Provide and promote the highest level of customer service as expected across the business when dealing with our Premium ticket holders
20. To pull off lounge reports/ guest lists for events and manage any app offers in the absence of the Commercial Manager
21. Work alongside the Marketing department to increase and maximise sales in our off-manifest seating and lounges on an event-by-event basis through regular monitoring of premium sales
22. Constantly seeking ideas to increase F&B spend in the hospitality areas through offers on the venue app without compromising the premium experience

Desirable:
33. A proven record of working in a similar environment ideally within the entertainment/leisure industry.
34. Experience with a CRM and diary management system
Experience of assisting with hospitality and working in a sales role
