Key Information
* Job Title: Mill Operator - Bury St Edmunds
* Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, UK
* Contract: Full time, Permanent
* Shift Pattern: Days 6:00 to 18:00; Nights 18:00 to 6:00 on a 5‑5‑4 Pattern
* Package: Salary from £41,342.90 including discretionary performance‑related bonus, plus pension contributions matched up to 10% and access to flexible benefits that support your development, wellbeing, and everyday life.
Responsibilities
* Operate automated plant machinery in a production environment.
* Follow standard processes to maximise production volumes while adhering to feed safety legislation.
* Complete all tasks accurately and on time.
* Assist with stock checks and collaborate with the site maintenance team to ensure effective equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
* Prior experience working in a production environment and operating automated plant machinery.
* Familiarity with standard ways of working and following procedures.
* Self‑motivated, a team player with great customer‑service skills.
* Strong communicator who takes pride in the quality of their work.
