We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Practitioner or Team Manager to help shape and lead the transformation of our Front Door service.
This interim post will be funded for up to two years and will play a central role across both operational delivery and the wider project team as we design and embed a new service model.
The work will centre on a strong prevention agenda: managing demand more effectively, supporting people to maximise their independence, and ensuring they have greater choice and control over their care. A key priority is ensuring our approach is fully aligned with the Care Act. The developing model will be multidisciplinary and built around meaningful, early conversations that help identify the most appropriate response to each individual's social care needs.

As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level C1: Can express themselves fluently and spontaneously, almost effortlessly. Only a conceptually difficult subject can hinder a natural, smooth flow of language.
Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
