Job Title: Directorate Coordinator

Salary: £26,600 - £32,600

Location: Cambridge, UK - Hybrid (at least 2-3 days per week in the office)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

About the role

This role is part of our Global Marketing team in International Education. You will provide proactive, confidential and well‑organised administrative and coordination support to the Director, Global Marketing and senior leadership team.


Responsibilities

* Support the effective planning and organisation of meetings for SLT and the whole Global Marketing directorate.
* Help arrange meetings, prepare for them well and follow up on them effectively. Youll also support our reporting processes.
* Coordinate travel arrangements, support financial administration and help us organise any office moves.
* Support the onboarding of new starters and support the leadership, and act as a central point of coordination for Global Marketing.
* Work collaboratively with teams in International Education and across the wider organisation, including those working on finance, property, travel and HR.

This position is a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face‑to‑face at their dedicated location. Aside from our hybrid principles, other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including other work arrangements should you require adjustments due to a disability or long‑term health condition.


About you

To do this role well, its essential that you have strong organisational skills and can manage diaries, meetings, and competing priorities. Youll need very good written communication skills and pay attention to detail when working with templates and guidance.

Youll be proficient in common office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and be comfortable using tools to track actions, book travel and manage meeting logistics. You’ll have significant experience in an administrative or personal assistant role supporting senior colleagues, and experience working in a complex, fast‑paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Proactive and well organised, youll be able to plan ahead, professional and confident in working with others. Youll be flexible and resilient, so you can reprioritise work and remain effective when theres a lot happening. This role gives the opportunity to work with colleagues in different countries and time zones, so you’ll be collaborative and approachable so you can build strong relationships with them.

Interview process
