Personal Assistant / Carer
Purpose of the job:
* PA required for a gentleman who lives in a rural location, CW5 area, who was born with a syndrome with a severe learning disability. As a result of my syndrome, Client needs supervision 24 hours a day and has a compromised immune system.
* To join a team of PA’s.
Hours and rate of Pay
* £12.21 per hour
* 8 hours per day – shifts available 7am-3pm / 3pm–11pm / 11pm-7am
Main Duties
* All aspects of Personal Care.
* Domestic Duties: Support with cooking and service nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning, changing linen, laundry, ironing (These duties may vary from day-to-day
* I like painting, watching DVD’s, listening to music, and going for a short walk.
* Social Duties: Attend medical appointments with me
* Support me to keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
* Car Driver is essential.
Personal Assistant Specification:
* Driving licence with own transport.
* DBS check will be required.
* Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
* My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
* My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
* You must be able to work well independently.
* My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
* The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
