Job Description Senior Manager, Consulting – Asset Management transformation New York | Boston | Denver (Hybrid) $195k – $240k bonus benefits A leading buy-side specialist consulting firm is expanding its Asset Management Transformation practice across North America. This is a chance to join a high-growth, PE-backed consultancy working at the intersection of investment operations, technology platforms, and front-to-back transformation — partnering with top-tier asset managers on their most complex change programmes. They are seeking experienced Senior Managers who will be pivotal in leading engagements to identify and implement solutions for a range of issues facing asset managers. Over the course of each project, you will collect and analyze data, prepare and test hypotheses, and present recommendations to the client to solve their unique business challenges.. We want to hear from Management Consultants who have proven experience at a recognized consulting firm and with experience of o perating model design and implementation across middle & back office functions. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for: Managing project execution and a team of consultants ensuring the successful delivery of client engagements, including planning the day-to-day work of the team, facilitating client interviews and workshops, structuring client deliverables and ensuring standards for quality are met Creating a culture of continuous learning for the team and clients, and actively mentoring team members to develop their skillset as they progress in their careers Supporting business development by driving the creation of client proposals, authoring thought leadership, and maintaining strong relationships with past and prospective clients Contributing to the wider community by making innovative and proactive contributions to one or more business management or practice areas Maintaining a broad understanding of the challenges facing the Asset & Wealth Management Industry and acting as an expert in a least one area in demand by clients Your experience will include: 7 – 10 years proven experience in asset management consulting at a recognized Consulting firm Operating model design and implementation experience impacting business processes and/or IT solutions in at least one business area such as Investments, Distribution, Middle & Back-office processes and outsourcing Demonstrable proficiency in relationship development. This should include examples of client account support/management and preferably supporting business development Knowledge and a personal viewpoint on key trends in asset management, including front to back operating model, emerging products, and services Excellent consulting and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with recognized consulting frameworks and techniques; experience of research, quantitative analysis, structured problem solving and executive communication techniques Proven presentation skills supported by first class written and verbal communication skills; the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and impactful manner
