Teaching Personnel and its partner schools have created a ‘Future Teachers Programme’ to support the recruitment of graduates who are looking for one year of paid experience before joining a teacher training course.

What are the roles and responsibilities of a ‘Future Teacher’?
* Work with a small group of students in need of extra support.
* Deliver pre-planned focused interventions and monitor pupils’ progress.
* Work alongside the class teacher to plan sessions and cover lessons alongside receiving training on what is involved to become a future teacher.
* Full support and training will be provided
To be accepted onto the Future Teachers Programme, you must have a degree within Maths, English, Science, Humanities or PE or be coming to the end of the final year of your degree.
Following the completion of the Future Teachers Programme, successful Graduates will be supported onto a teacher training programme to achieve full QTS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
