You will support the effective provision of a high quality, professional administration service with the Chemotherapy Department. This primarily involves the provision of a comprehensive, flexible, and confidential support service and in addition, as a member of the wider department team, to engage in setting the standard for administrations processes which are paper light, timely and involve minimal bureaucracy.
The Chemotherapy Administrator/Scheduler will support specific projects for the purposes of developing effective processes, meeting targets and maintaining effective services to the Chemotherapy Team.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Perform an ambassadorial role, representing the Chemotherapy Oncology Department “Front of House” service acting in a professional, courteous and customer-focused manner at all times.
Answer telephone queries, take messages, direct where appropriate, meet and greet and provide assistance directing visitors to the Department to the appropriate location/s.
Be responsible/supporting of organising and management of the scheduling for chemotherapy treatments and related appointments for patients.
Address any scheduling-related queries to the chemotherapy medical staff.
Team Communication, liaise with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care to ensure a coordinated and efficient treatment process.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring a comprehensive administration and clerical service is provided to all clinical specialities, ensuring patient's chemotherapy treatment and associated appointments are scheduled and managed with clear guidance.
