Job Purpose: The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive HR support across all areas of the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and alignment with organisational goals. You will work closely with managers and employees at all levels to deliver HR services, support employee engagement, and drive HR initiatives that contribute to a positive workplace culture. This role will be based in our Bournemouth, Dorset office. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle Provide comprehensive HR administration support, including end-to-end recruitment, preparation of offer letters, employment contracts, and self-employed agreements for contractors. Support leavers with exit processes, including offboarding and exit interviews. Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation in compliance with GDPR. Process employee changes, draft accurate formal documentation, and inform payroll of updates. Act as a key point of contact for HR systems, ensuring accurate data entry, reporting, and staff support. Manage and book all employee business travel arrangements. In addition to stationary/equipment requests and purchases. Work with finance to ensure accurate manage of invoices/receipts. Employee Relations & Performance Management Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, performance management, and employee relations matters. Support in notetaking of disciplinary, grievance, absence, and welfare processes, escalating complex cases to senior HR leadership as required. Learning, Development & Talent Deliver HR and Company induction to all new starters. Identify training needs and support the implementation of learning and development initiatives. Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, reward schemes, and recognition programmes. Compliance & HR Policy Ensure HR policies, procedures, and initiatives are up-to-date and compliant with UK employment legislation. Support audits, HR reporting, and analysis to identify trends and provide insights to senior leadership. Report and drive completion of compliance mandatory training of all staff. Maintain oversight of HR processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the organisation. Projects & Strategic Support Assist in HR projects, change initiatives, and organisational development activities with the CPO. Support TUPE, acquisition, and other HR-related due diligence processes. Collaborate with senior HR leadership on strategic initiatives to drive business and people objectives. What we are looking for in you - Essential: Exposure to working in a fast paced, high change and high velocity environments. Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office Experience working with a variety of business systems for documentation, record-keeping, reporting, and workflow management. Natural problem-solving skills with a methodical and structured approach to tasks Have excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels. Ability to foster and build relationships. Energetic with a positive mindset. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
