The flexible relief pool is intended for Derbyshire Social Workers who may be interested at retirement or leaving Derbyshire County Council to continue to work for the department on an as-and-when basis. The department may offer temporary contracts to support various aspects of the Adult Care provision within fieldwork and hospital teams when there are periods of high demand. Colleagues who are successful at interview will be offered a flexible contract.
