Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and repairs on a range of forklift trucks (diesel, gas, and electric)
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
* Provide a timely and professional response to customer breakdowns
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety guidelines
* Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
* Support customers with technical advice and guidance when required
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience working as a forklift engineer or in a similar mechanical/electrical engineering role is essential
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
* Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, C&G or equivalent) are desirable.
