Procurement Manager
Location: Flexible on GTUK location - hybrid working

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to elevate our Procurement team at Grant Thornton. Established three years ago, the Procurement department has been expanding its influence. Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager and working with the Director of Procurement and Property, you will leverage your experience to shape the function. Current focus areas include IT/digital, Properties & Facilities Management, Travel, Recruitment, Events, and Marketing, with potential to support all spending as the team grows.
Procurement collaborates with subject matter experts across the firm to continually improve procurement processes and third-party risk management. This role offers an opportunity to apply your best practices knowledge to drive the future of procurement within the firm. You will work with passionate colleagues committed to our ESG and diversity objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead procurement initiatives on various indirect spend projects, influencing stakeholders to define effective strategies ensuring value and risk mitigation from responsible suppliers.
* Develop and enhance procurement policies and processes, including third-party due diligence and risk management, aligning with our values.
* Increase procurement visibility and identify opportunities to enhance business performance.
* Adapt traditional procurement processes to our agile, entrepreneurial environment by collaborating with service line leaders.
* Support our ESG strategy, including our commitment to SBTi and supplier diversity programs.
* Assist stakeholders and finance teams in achieving their objectives within budget.
* Maintain accurate procurement data, including contracts database, spend data, and activity tracker.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum criteria include extensive experience in indirect procurement, with the ability to translate best practices into policies and processes. Skills that are desirable include:
* Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
* Commercial acumen, proactive approach, proven negotiation skills
* Experience in professional services, partnerships, or financial services
* Supplier management, third-party assurance, and risk management expertise
* Experience with ESG & I&D within the supply chain
* Knowledge of Digital & IT procurement, including software and hardware
