Trainee Traffic Installation Technician
Telent is seeking a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our team of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting specialists in Gloucestershire. Due to growth, we are expanding our Traffic team in this region. This is a field-based role; applicants must hold a full UK driving license, be willing to travel across the region, and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
* Work with experienced Traffic Engineers to install, maintain, and test Traffic Signals and Lighting units and electrical components in Gloucestershire.
* Participate in training that includes classroom, on-the-job, desk-based, and online learning, progressing towards NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Highways Electrical Installations (LANTRA), and sector certifications like ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.
Candidate Profile:
* Interest in field-based engineering and electrical installations.
* Experience with electrical equipment or related coursework preferred but not required.
* Keen to start a new career and learn.
Key Requirements:
* Motivated and eager to learn through various training methods.
* Experience or qualification in electrical installations or similar.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret technical instructions.
* Full UK Driving License.
* Good communication skills and computer literacy.
* Willingness to undertake Drugs & Alcohol testing.
