Bank Staff Nurse (Surgical Orthopaedics)

Paying £28.20ph
As a Bank Staff Nurse, you will work on The Surgical and Orthopaedic ward based at the prestigious Cromwell Hospital. You’ll work as part of a wide-ranging MDT who provide a large range of surgical specialties to include orthopaedics, ENT, Plastics, Aesthetics, Abdominal Surgery, Breast Surgery and others.

What you'll do:
* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised quality patient care.
* Supply and administer medication safely in line with hospital policy.
* Assess and support patients with their adherence and understanding of theirmedication.
* Work with the multi-disciplinary team and collaboratively ensure appropriatecare is provided.
* Respect people’s rights to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
* Maintain people’s right to dignity, privacy, and confidentiality whilst under care at The Cromwell Hospital.
* Take on extra duties and responsibilities as delegated, and work within the scope of your professional practice, being aware of your own capability and limitations.
* Keep clear and accurate records, following NMC standards of documentation.
What you’ll bring:
* Registered General Nurse and NMC PIN required.
* Nursing experience in a Surgical ward.
* Pleasant and cheerful manner, being supportive and approachable.
* Contribute to a high-quality safe working environment in which patients receive a high standard of care.
* Ability to work well both in a team and to use your own initiative.
* Ability to maintain professional communication.
