Requirements & Qualifications
* You must have achieved grade 5 or above in Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent.
* Predicted GCSE grades are acceptable if results will be received within 3 months.
* You must be 16 or over and have the right to work in the UK.

Role: What you’ll contribute
* Create lessons that last: Use the tailored learning approach and Compass smart learning tool to empower members to overcome challenges and see progress.
* Create lasting relationships: In small group sessions (1:6 ratio) you will build strong relationships with members and inspire children to be fearless in their approach to learning.
* Create change: You will support members as they progress through the national curriculum, entrance exam and GCSE preparation, striving to see meaningful change in their progress and celebrating achievements.

Logistics
* Location: Nottingham centre.
* Group work: 1:6 ratio small groups, teaching children ages 4-16 covering the national curriculum, 11‑plus entrance exams and GCSE content.
* Commitment: Best suited to those looking for a long‑term commitment.
* Hours: At least 6 hours a week over 2 days. Start times between 3:30 pm and 4:00 pm on weekdays.
Pay Rates & Progression
Hourly rate based on age group:
* Under 18: £8.00
* 18‑20: £10.05
* 21+: £12.25
An additional 50p per hour will be added if working at a centre inside the M25. You will be paid for all training and inductions.
Earn more as you progress! You start at the base rate for your age group, with an annual opportunity to increase your pay based on the number of hours you tutor for us.
