Here at GXO, we are looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our team on our Wickes contract at our Northampton site. You’ll play a key role in driving operational performance – leading teams, managing workflow and ensuring safety, quality and service standards are met every day. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader looking to join a global logistics business, where pace, people and performance go hand in hand. You’ll be responsible for leading and coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality operational performance. This role oversees frontline teams, manages workflow and maintains compliance with all operational standards, Health & Safety requirements and service‑level expectations.
This is a full‑time, permanent position, working Monday – Friday 14:00 – 22:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Managing a team of operatives within a functional area (Goods In, Pick, Dispatch) to achieve daily targets
* Coaching and developing new and existing team members to ensure sufficient skill coverage within the area
* Challenging under performance and working alongside the Supervisory team to address issues within the team
* Troubleshooting & investigation of errors and anomalies within the designated area
* Contribution to the continuous improvement of operational processes and practices
