I am working with a fantastic sailing company that needs a sales advisor with exceptional administration skills and a passion for the sea. The role will initially involve working through warm leads but requires a think-outside-the-box attitude to gain new business. Your main duties will include:
* Handling customer calls and emails promptly and professionally
* Developing and maintaining personable relationships with customers and our freelance instructor team
* Upselling where appropriate to maximize profitability
* Managing all aspects of the customer experience before and after events
* Booking services related to courses or holidays
* Maintaining the event schedule, diary, and CRM systems
The ideal candidate will:
* Be comfortable using email and phone to conduct business and build relationships
* Have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
* Work well under pressure
* Possess excellent written and spoken communication skills to engage effectively at all levels
* Be efficient, highly organized, and attentive to detail
* Be computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office
* Ideally have experience in the sailing or yachting industry, either for leisure or commercial purposes, and understand RYA schemes (not essential)
