The Role
We are looking for a first-class Chef Manager to lead our kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality, nutritious meals while managing kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and serve meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs (including diabetic, vegetarian, and texture-modified diets)
* Plan menus and manage stock ordering
* Maintain food safety records and hygiene standards
* Ensure kitchen cleanliness and equipment maintenance
* Manage budgets and kitchen operations
* Supervise staff, complete supervisions, and manage rotas
* Support events alongside the Activities Team
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Experience in a care setting
* Catering qualifications
* Food safety/hygiene certification
Desirable
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Good organisational and time management abilities
* Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
