Contract: 12-month Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) or until return of the postholder
Full time - 37.5 hours per week
We are looking for a motivated Band 6 Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our experienced team at Chippenham Community Hospital. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive multidisciplinary setting and deliver high-quality care across community respiratory services.
What You’ll Do
* Deliver evidence-based respiratory care within an established team.
* Assess, monitor, and review patients referred for:
o Pulmonary Rehabilitation
o Other therapies as needed
* Provide specialist care for COPD and ILD patients.
* Support Community Pulmonary Rehabilitation, including education and exercise sessions.
* Promote patient self-management and behaviour change.
* Communicate complex clinical information clearly to patients, families, and other professionals.
* Prioritise and manage a varied caseload.
* Maintain accurate electronic records and support audit activity.
* Work collaboratively with community nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
* Adhere to all professional and organisational policies.
