We are looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll be part of a friendly team dedicated to helping our customers. Your responsibilities will include coaching and supervising Customer Team Members, deputising for the Store Manager, delivering excellent customer service, and performing store tasks like re-stocking and cleaning. The role involves varied shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, late evenings, and weekends, which will be discussed at interview.

What you’ll do
1. Provide friendly, welcoming, helpful, and thoughtful service, managing store operations and handling challenging situations.
2. Develop your team through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone’s voice is valued.
3. Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational.
4. Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to enhance the shopping experience.
5. Support your store manager by deputising and assisting with HR processes.
6. Lead the introduction of new products and services, encouraging team feedback.
7. Build relationships within the local community and support the delivery of the local Co-op community plan.
