Responsibilities
* Lead the design and implementation of advanced electrical distribution systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications
* Develop and review technical documents such as design basis, load lists, cable schedules, and single-line diagrams
* Perform complex equipment sizing calculations for transformers, generators, cables, and other electrical components
* Utilize cutting‑edge system studies software to model electrical systems and conduct load flow, short circuit, and protection relay setting studies
* Oversee project teams and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget
* Stay current with industry trends, standards, and regulations, implementing best practices in electrical engineering
* Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting complex electrical issues
* Contribute to the development of company standards and procedures for electrical engineering projects
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
* 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems and distribution
* Proven expertise in designing low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
* Proficiency in using system studies software such as ETAP, SKM, or Amtech
* Strong knowledge of industry standards, including IEEE, NEC, and IEC
* Experience with CAD software for electrical design and drafting
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
* Strong leadership abilities and project management experience
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior engineers
* Commitment to staying updated with the latest technological advancements in electrical engineering
