Service Coordinator – Beckton, London - £32/35k
My client is a mechanical engineering company with over 50 years of experience, providing mechanical services to clients across London and the home counties.
They are seeking a Helpdesk Coordinator to join their busy East London office in Beckton.
Main Purpose of the Role
To support the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused maintenance services, ensuring efficient execution of planned, cyclical, and reactive maintenance programs. The role involves ensuring compliance with legislation, including health and safety regulations, and providing feedback to management on efficiency and improvements. The Maintenance Coordinator also contributes to achieving company objectives and upholding policies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Contract Management & Scheduling: Assist in executing maintenance contracts efficiently, schedule work, allocate tasks, and manage emergency call-outs.
* Communication & Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors, maintaining relationships and providing reports.
* Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities: Raise job orders, review reports, prepare RAMS, manage permits, maintain electronic filing, and handle administrative tasks.
Job Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

* Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, computer literacy).

Package
* £32/35k depending on experience.
* Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, office-based.
