Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Teaching Assistant in Dunstable to support local schools across Dunstable and Houghton Regis. Location: Dunstable
Salary: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Job Type: Temporary / Long-term (potential to go permanent)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support classroom teachers with daily learning activities.
2. Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
3. Assist in managing pupil behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
4. Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
5. Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school atmosphere.
Essential Skills & Experience:
6. Previous experience working with children.
7. Ideally, hold a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (not essential if experienced).
8. A good understanding of childcare and the UK education system.
9. The right to work in the UK.
10. Able to provide two professional references.
