We urgently need experienced KS3 English and Maths Tutors to support students in Guildford, with strong emphasis on SEN work.

Responsibilities
Successful candidates will receive further information, guidelines on the Bright Heart Approach and relevant training for working with SEN students. Key duties include:
* Deliver one‑to‑one tutoring in KS3 English and Maths
* Use the Bright Heart Approach to build trust, confidence and academic progress
* Tailor lessons to meet the unique needs of each student, especially those with SEN
* Maintain accurate records and communicate with parents, councils and schools
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications and Requirements
* Right to work in the UK and a current Enhanced DBS certificate (check for children’s barred list)
* Minimum of 12 months relevant tutoring and/or teaching experience in the UK
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths
* University qualification or studying towards one, and A‑levels
* Passion for teaching and for working with students with SEN
* 2 relevant professional references and a parent reference; overseas experience within last 5 years requires additional checks
