This is a multi-disciplinary, hands-on role with a strong focus on supporting the delivery of a range of events and sponsorships across the firm. The role requires you to work closely with the Events and Sponsorship Manager, as well as with sector and practice team leaders, to drive the successful implementation and monitoring of events and sponsorships. The position is based in Cambridge and Norwich, with potential travel to other offices or venues to support events.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
* Support the team with the coordination and project management of events and sponsorships.
* Attend meetings with key stakeholders to understand objectives, make recommendations, and create action plans.
* Develop clear and timely event plans to support marketing and sponsorship activities.
* Possess a strong knowledge of virtual event platforms to maximize webinar and virtual event success.
* Lead production of project timelines, source venues and catering, coordinate invitations, review presentation materials, and support event logistics.
Communications:
* Work with the PR/Communications team to promote events and sponsorships and maximize post-campaign PR opportunities.
* Produce marketing collateral such as invitations, flyers, brochures, and adverts.
Knowledge and Database Management:
* Act as a proactive ambassador for the CRM system, ensuring all activities are recorded and compliant with GDPR, and data is kept up-to-date.
Merchandise and Event Collateral:
* Review and proofread presentation materials and collateral.
* Source and manage merchandise supplies.
* Support invoice processing and maintain a register of event assets.
You will need to be detail-oriented, rigorous, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks with a proactive approach. The role requires versatility, confidence in handling both high-profile C-suite events and community events, and excellent communication skills. Flexibility around working hours, strong project and budget management skills, and a team-oriented attitude are essential.
