Description
Coordinate and manage administrative tasks for ongoing projects, ensuring smooth operations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project activities.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Monitor project timelines and provide updates to relevant parties as required.
Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation for senior management.
Assist in resource allocation and tracking to optimise project efficiency.
Identify potential risks or issues and escalate them to the appropriate team members.
Provide general administrative support to the department as needed including Health and Safety related issues.Profile
A successful Lead Projects Administrator should have:
Proactive, independent, and a self-starter but able to work collaboratively within a team
Able to translate ideas into structured processes
Comfortable working with technically-minded but less organised colleagues
Firm but approachable, especially around financial and safety milestones
Tech-savvy, with strong Excel skills (essential); familiarity with Xero is a bonus but not required
Open to digital tools and innovation (e.g., apps, AI)
Proven experience in administrative roles within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work.
A desire to persue a career as a project manager
