Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
£55 000 + overtime

Role and Responsibilities
* Carry out planned, reactive maintenance and safety checks on all high-speed food production lines, packaging machinery, conveyors, metal detectors, labellers, baggers, checkweighers, PLCs, control panels, robotics, depositors.
* Electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repairs, strip-downs and overhauls.
* Work on motors, gearboxes, VSDs, inverters, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, drives, bearings.
* Improve plant availability, reliability and continuous improvement work.
* Monitor contractors on site, order spares and parts.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Multi-skilled maintenance engineer.
* Ideally completed a recognised apprenticeship.
* HNC/HND qualified in engineering.
* Electrical and mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Past experience with industrial processing, equipment and manufacturing systems.
* Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
* Knowledge of electrical safety isolation procedures is beneficial.
* Experience with motors, sensors, inverters, gearboxes, VSDs, pneumatics, drives.
* Experience using SAP is beneficial.
* Advantageous if you have worked with PLC systems.
* Any experience working in ATEX/CompEx environments would be great.
