Spinal Injury Team Leader
Location: Birmingham
Job Type: Zero-hour contract
Shifts: 12 hour day shifts & night shifts. Team Leader expectations would be a split of hours on the rota as a Support Worker, alongside hours for administration/other duties.

Role Overview:
We are offering an opportunity for experienced Team Leader/Senior Spinal Injury Support Worker to join our new client in Birmingham. To support their independence and lifestyle, we’re seeking support workers who are confident, empathetic, and capable of building a strong, trusting relationship.

Key Responsibilities:
As a team leader, you will:
* Lead, support, and motivate care staff to deliver outstanding person-centred care
* Conduct spot checks, supervisions, and competency assessments
* Assist with rota management and ensure adequate staffing for each care package
* Maintain accurate care records
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, families, and professionals
* Support with training and development of care staff
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations
* Provide hands-on care when required to maintain service continuity.

What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience within a similar role, supporting clients with Spinal Injury, catheter care and bowel management
* A caring and compassionate nature
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A valid UK driving licence essential to drive the WAV during shifts essential.
