Overview
Meetings and Events Sales Agent - Crowne Plaza Stratford Upon Avon. Salary: £30,000 per annum, 40 hours per week (5 days). The role is mainly office based in the hotel, handling direct enquiries with potential expansion into direct sales calls as the business grows.
You will be the first point of contact for guests, guiding enquiries from initial contact through to contracting. You will engage with guests by phone, email and face to face at the hotel. Meetings and events range from small meetings to weddings and private events, with bookings typically between 2 and 100 guests.
The position is primarily office-based with standard Monday to Friday hours.

What you'll be doing
* Provide top quality customer service
* Work as part of a dynamic, supportive team
* Take enquiries and bookings via telephone and online platforms
* Process, amend and update bookings as required
* Conduct hotel tours for new and prospective guests
* Develop lasting relationships with clients and generate repeat business
* Maximise revenue through upselling (food and beverage packages, accommodation bookings and meeting room hire)
* Administration and technology savvy (Opera, Salesforce)
