Job Purpose/Overview We have a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Advisor (12 months FTC), commencing around mid to late October 2025. In your role, you will work as an integral member of the NATS Legal team to advice across the group on corporate, contracts, commercial and regulatory compliance issues. Other Duties Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of legal documents and contracts; including contract interpretation, evaluation of disputes and customer claims, and the implementation of variation and other change orders, during contract execution phase. Being capable of complex contract negotiations and production of legal documents where a reasonable amount of bespoke drafting is required. Provision of advice and guidance on basic legal questions or issues. Navigating through and advise the business on internal governance matters; including the preparation of documentation required to secure internal bid approval. Developing a good understanding of the NATS business and applies apply this knowledge as appropriate. Supporting the development and ongoing review of processes, know-how, templates, and precedents across the legal team. Appropriate escalation to senior legal colleagues and cooperation with external lawyers, as required. Essential Skills and Experience A junior-mid legal professional with a minimum of Legal Practice Course or equivalent qualification (UK qualified solicitor / ILEX is desirable, but not essential) Proven experience in commercial and contracts law and/or an in-house environment Strong commercial acumen, judgement and pragmatism in relation to contracting issues and risk mitigation strategies Able to prioritise workload and manage stakeholder expectations Exceptional analytical skills, independent judgement and an ability to prioritise a wide variety workload Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt communications to different audiences Self-motivated, helpful and strong team player Additional Vacancy Information We are proud to offer a fantastic total reward package to help you thrive both personally and professionally - for more information on what NATS can offer you please visit - Why NATS?
