Senior SRE Cloud Engineer London hybrid working (2 days in office) £70,000 (SC Cleared) A well established pioneering firm is seeking a skilled SRE cloud engineer with a background in Azure Cloud adoption framework. As an SRE you will implement the delivery of Azure cloud platform services using cloud adoption framework principles. This is a hands-on delivery role with significant technical and strategic influence, reporting to the Cloud Platform Lead. You will be instrumental in delivering cloud-native solutions that enhance reliability, efficiency, and scale. You will also be responsible for the automation process-creating and managing the pipelines (CI/CD) that build, test, and safely deploy the software, using tools like GitHub and Azure DevOps. As an SRE you will need to have the following core skills Extensive, proven experience as a Senior SRE or equivalent senior DevOps role. Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and application migration at scale. Strong practical background in Terraform and advanced IaC practices. Proficiency with GitHub for version control and building automated CI/CD workflows. Desirable Skills Familiarity with the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) or Well-Architected Framework (WAF). Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-305).
