As a Controls Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimising control systems, ensuring seamless integration into high-performance medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide Control & Instrumentation engineering expertise to multidisciplinary R&D teams.
* Develop and implement PLC HMI, motion control, vision systems, and instrumentation solutions.
* Research, test, and integrate new technologies into future product developments.
* Optimise and characterise equipment performance through advanced control techniques.
* Contribute to the full product lifecycle, from concept through to manufacturing.
Role Requirements:
* HNC or higher qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Engineering.
* Strong experience with PLC programming, HMI, Motion Control, and Vision Systems.
* Knowledge of PID control systems, instrumentation, and automation.
* Hands-on experience in an R&D environment, with a creative and problem-solving mindset.
* Additional experience in databases, electronics, and electrical systems is desirable.
