I’m working with a growing UK consumer brand with sites across the country. They’re investing in marketing and now need a Marketing Manager who can take the lead on campaigns, social media and digital presence to help local teams attract and convert more customers. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys being hands-on – planning, creating and delivering activity – while also working closely with stakeholders across the business. The role – what you’ll be responsible for You’ll be at the centre of how the brand shows up to customers – online, offline and locally in each area. Campaigns & growth activity Plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns (digital and offline) that generate enquiries and support customer sign-ups. Build and maintain a campaign plan across the year, making sure key periods and commercial priorities are covered. Support the opening and promotion of new sites/locations, ensuring they’re visible and supported from a marketing perspective. Work with external partners or agencies on creative, media or specialist elements where needed. Keep an eye on how other multi-site and consumer brands are marketing themselves, using this insight to refine your own approach. Social media & content Take ownership of the social media plan, including content ideas, scheduling and ongoing optimisation. Review current tools and processes for managing social, suggesting improvements or new solutions where they’d add value. Encourage and support site-level social activity, giving local teams guidance and assets so they can post confidently and consistently. Produce engaging content across channels – from social posts and email copy to simple video clips and visual assets. Work with a Designer to create easy-to-use templates and campaign assets (e.g. in Canva or similar). Use AI tools to speed up content ideas and drafting, while maintaining a human, on-brand tone. Website & digital presence Play a key part in website projects – whether that’s rolling out new sites, refreshing pages or improving user journeys. Partner with digital colleagues on topics like traffic generation, landing page performance and conversion optimisation. Make sure campaigns, promotions and local initiatives are clearly reflected on the website and kept up to date. Local marketing support Collaborate with regional and site-level teams to create local marketing initiatives that drive enquiries and visits. Help improve visibility on listing and review platforms, ensuring profiles are complete, accurate and optimised. Visit locations occasionally to build relationships, understand local needs and capture authentic stories, photos and testimonials. Data, insight & collaboration Monitor campaign and channel performance, turning data into clear recommendations for what to do more of – and what to change. Produce straightforward post-campaign reviews to share learnings with the wider team. Compare activity and results across different locations to spot patterns and opportunities. Work closely with senior marketing stakeholders and colleagues in digital, design and field-based roles to ensure everything is joined up. Provide input and support on employer brand/recruitment campaigns where needed. About you You’re a practical, confident marketer who’s comfortable owning projects from idea through to delivery.
