The role: Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects. Lead small group interventions and cover classes when required. Assist with planning and preparing learning activities. Promote positive behaviour and help students achieve their potential. Requirements The successful HLTA will have; HLTA qualification or relevant experience in a Secondary School setting. Strong communication and organisational skills. Confidence to cover lessons and manage a classroom effectively. A genuine passion for supporting young people’s learning. Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship) *All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
