Job Description
3. Define and communicate IT strategy, objectives and roadmap aligned to business goals
4. Act as senior IT business partner, owning end-to-end demand to delivery lifecycle
5. Lead application management, support and delivery using Agile and ITIL-aligned models
6. Drive IT landscape simplification, standardisation and regional harmonisation
7. Ensure high availability, performance and security of business-critical applications
8. Oversee IT operations, escalation management and service quality assurance
9. Manage IT budgets across run, change and project portfolios
10. Lead supplier and partner relationships to ensure value, compliance and performance
11. Identify and mitigate IT, security and operational risks
12. Build, manage and develop a high-performing IT leadership and delivery team
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of IT should have:
13. Degree in Information Technology, Business Computer Science or related discipline
14. 5+ years' experience in IT consulting or senior IT leadership roles
15. Strong understanding of IT architectures, infrastructure and enterprise platforms
16. Advanced knowledge of Cloud technologies, DevOps, APIs, IAM and open-source solutions
17. Proven experience delivering complex IT transformation and change programmes
18. Strong background in IT Service Management and Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban)
19. Experience with vendor management, budget ownership and commercial negotiation
20. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and strategic thinking skills
