A leading independent provider of bespoke private wealth, corporate administration and yacht services is seeking a Senior Tax Administrator to join its Corporate Services team. This is a full-time, office-based role offering the chance to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, servicing a wide range of international clients. This role is open for candidates who are either based in Guernsey or London.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for providing tax services to a portfolio of fiduciary clients, including the preparation of UK and Guernsey tax reporting requirements, tax returns, and responding to tax-related queries. The role also involves reviewing trust and company accounts, preparing fee quotes, liaising with clients and colleagues, and assisting with training junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
•Preparation of UK income & corporation tax returns, capital gains tax returns, ATED returns, and Guernsey income tax returns
•Review of trust and company accounts
•Assist with UK inheritance tax returns
•Prepare correspondence with settlors and beneficiaries regarding tax reporting
•Liaise with internal teams and respond to tax queries from administrators
•Prepare taxation fee quotes and assist with billing
•Support training of junior staff
Requirements
•Educated to a minimum of A-level standard (or equivalent)
•At least 3 years’ relevant experience
•ATT qualification an advantage (or qualified by experience)
•Strong communication, numeracy, and IT skills
•Ability to work to deadlines with a positive, proactive approach
•A strong team player
