A new and exciting opportunity has become available for an Assessor in Early Years, to assess our Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years (Childcare) learners within the workplace as part of their work experience. You will be assessing learners on the Level 2 Certificate and Diploma in Early Years Education and the T-Level in Early Years Education. You will be involved in coaching and mentoring learners in college as they prepare for placement assessments and giving them constructive feedback. You will be joining a vibrant department, with growing student numbers. Our existing staff team are passionate about Early Years education and have rich industry experience to bring to the classroom. What You Will Be Doing: • Assessing learners on our Level 2 and 3 programmes (Diploma and T-Level) while they are on work placement in accordance with success criteria • Completing observation documentation in a timely manner in accordance to awarding body requirements • Providing timely constructive feedback for learners, supporting them to set targets for improvement • Taking part in divisional CPD, training and staff meetings What We Are Looking For: • A recognised assessor qualification (e.g. A1) • A Level 3 qualification (or above) in a relevant subject area • Relevant industry experience • Access to own vehicle What can we offer you?
