As we prepare to officially launch our brand‑new Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC) in Hanley, Stoke‑on‑Trent, the Imaging Department is excited to welcome enthusiastic and motivated Diagnostic Radiographers to join our expanding community X‑ray team. Available on a full‑time, part‑time or flexible basis.
Responsibilities
* Work alongside Radiographers and Assistant Practitioners at the new CDC and across the four existing community sites.
* Deliver high‑quality care across all five locations, including Haywood Hospital, Leek Moorlands Hospital, Longton Cottage Hospital, Cobridge Health Centre and the new Hanley CDC.
* Act as clinical lead when on duty, organising and prioritising competing clinical demands.
* Maintain a safe, clean, professional environment and provide a supportive and caring service to patients and colleagues.
* Contribute to the community team’s seven‑day rotation, covering shifts from 7 am to 10 pm and bank holidays.
Qualifications
* BSc Hons Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
* HCPC registration.
* Minimum of 12 months NHS experience, with recent work experience in a general X‑ray team using digital radiography technology.
* Band 5 or Band 6 radiographer experience, with aspiration to progress to an exciting imaging department.
Schedule
Seven‑day rotation with shifts ranging from 7 am to 10 pm, including bank holidays.
