The Role My client is offering an excellent opportunity for a Senior / Principal Planner or any Chartered MRTPI Planners to join their growing teams in Leeds and Manchester. Their planning division focuses on strategic planning projects—primarily planning applications and land promotions for residential development—and works closely with colleagues in development economics, design, and heritage. They also provide complementary socio-economic, heritage, masterplanning, and architectural services. They are seeking ambitious planners to join their Northwest team to drive projects forward and support wider business development activities. You will be: An integral part of the team, helping to deliver their ambitions by leading projects, building client relationships, and representing the brand to a high standard. As a Senior / Principal Planner, you will continue to progress your career within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, while also having ample opportunity to build client relationships and develop your own workload. You will be involved in projects from the outset—working closely with colleagues, clients, and external consultants to manage schemes through early advice and design stages, right through to securing consent and handling the discharge of conditions and planning obligations. There will also be opportunities to support Planning Appeals and Local Plan Examinations.
