Global Law Firm - Private Wealth & Tax Solicitor (4-6 PQE)
Our client, an international law firm is seeking a solicitor to join its highly regarded Private Wealth and Tax division. With a legacy spanning over a century, the firm advises successful individuals, families, and private capital across borders. Clients include entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, and family offices-many with complex, multi-jurisdictional interests.
The firm fosters a collaborative, people-first culture that values agility, strategic thinking, and individuality. Its teams operate across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific, delivering tailored legal solutions in a fast-moving, compliance-driven world.
The Private Wealth and Tax division is one of the largest globally, comprising over 300 professionals and generating more than half of the firm's revenue. It provides integrated advice on domestic and international tax, estate planning, succession, mental capacity, philanthropy, immigration, and real estate. The team also supports fiduciaries in trust creation, modernisation, and regulatory compliance.
Clients range from senior executives and multi-generational families to some of the world's wealthiest individuals. The firm has built enduring relationships, often serving as trusted advisers across generations.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload involving UK and international tax, wealth structuring, and trusts. Responsibilities include:
* Advising domestic and international families on succession and tax planning using wills, trusts, partnerships, and corporate structures
* Delivering high-quality UK personal tax advice
* Supporting fiduciaries and beneficiaries with offshore structures
* Managing client matters efficiently and profitably
* Building relationships with intermediaries and contributing to business development
Candidate Profile
* 4-6 years post-qualification experience in private client, tax, or wealth structuring
* Strong academic credentials
* Excellent written, research, and communication skills
* Experience handling complex transactions and projects
* Team-oriented with strong IT proficiency
Working Arrangements
* Core hours: 9:30am-5:30pm (flexibility required)
* Hybrid working: 2-3 days per week in-office
