INCOME ACCOUNT MANAGER
2 x 37 hours

This is a key role at SCH responsible for delivery of high-quality, customer focused, rent collection and arrears services and for ensuring that we are continually seeking to maximise income for the organisation, minimise evictions and sustain tenancies.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in managing rent or debt recovery cases, particularly vulnerable customers facing financial difficulty.
You will have experience in achieving and/or exceeding set performance targets. A strong understanding of the legislative procedures for the collection of rent and leaseholder debt is essential in this role.
It is important that you have a customer focused approach to rent collection, offering empathy and a non‑judgemental attitude, and that you are committed to early intervention and can set affordable and achievement repayment plans for customers in arrears.
You will need the ability to prepare and confidently present arrears cases in court.
This is a role where a persistent, resilient and professional approach will be required.
If you are resilient and able to manage difficult conversations professionally, have excellent numerical skills and demonstrate the ability to build positive partnerships this may be the opportunity for you.
