We are looking for a Senior Strategic Account Manager to take responsibility for the development and management of one of the key accounts in our Financial Services Practice. As a key member of the Account Management Team, you will be responsible for shaping account strategy, leading stakeholder communications, and cultivating strong relationships with the customer, playing a key role in driving the overall success of the account. You will be actively involved in defining and leading client engagements from inception to successful business outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Create, manage, and lead a portfolio of client engagements focused on achieving significant business outcomes for clients by developing new or re-engineering existing IT systems, products, and services
* Be responsible for the account sales pipeline, directly lead sales and business development within the account
* Create and own the strategic account development plan
* Evolve the sales efforts from staff augmentation to higher value-add (expertise-led, Managed Outcome etc.) engagements
* Be responsible for executive / management level stakeholder relationships and customer experience as the main point of contact and escalation
* Track engagement and project performance against account metrics
* Translate client business goals and industry trends into new business opportunities
* Manage contract completion and compliance and be responsible for revenues, margins, billing, and profits
* Advocate for the best suited team size and structure to complete each project
* Work closely with the DataArt global delivery team to manage large-scale service engagements –planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting
* Facilitate the education of the DataArt team regarding client business, industry, environment, and change management
* Understand the key risks and assist in managing and mitigating them through tactical plans and actions
* Manage the third parties involved in DataArt’s engagements with clients
* Report monthly according to normal department procedures on account performance metrics, key issues, opportunities, changes, and objectives
Requirements
1. 5+ years of leadership experience in professional services and/or delivery roles
2. Excellent understanding of the industry environment: key financial service organizations, strategies, business models, needs, challenges, and trends
3. Strong command of software delivery value chain, lifecycle and methodologies
4. Strong understanding of modern technology landscape (cloud, data, AI etc.) and software architecture
5. Ability to work effectively in a high-risk/reward environment
6. Entrepreneurial, outgoing, detail-oriented, analytical thinker
7. Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
8. Experience working with multinational distributed teams
