Responsibilities
* To manage the site within budget and to adhere to Company Policy
* Implementation and communication of the Quality Policy
* Ensure that the Company’s Health & Safety Policy is adhered to and that any issues are reported to the General Manager
* Ensure compliance of personnel to the Company’s Hygiene Policies
* Supervision of all production staff, including training and disciplinary procedures
* Ensure that all staff are carrying out their duties in accordance with company Policy and any Job Descriptions that have been issued
* Ensure systems are in place so that customer orders are processed efficiently and completed in full
* Management of Raw Materials and finished product stock
* Ensure that all products are processed in accordance with customer specifications and the company manufacturing controls
* Production point of contact for site audits
* Ensure KPI’s are achieved
* Identify improvements to people and processes to improve efficiencies
Requirements
* Management experience in a food manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of BRC and Customer audits.
