Senior Transport Planner
My client is a haulage and maintenance company, specialising in drainage. They focus on their commitment to clients, and delivering work at a very high standard, allowing their company to expand their client base and fleet size. Due to this company growth, they are looking to for an experienced Senior Transport Planner to join their plant haulage service.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver the quoting and co-ordination of quality estimates and quotes for haulage requests.
Coordinating with other departments, to ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
To plan, coordination and deploy plant resources to ensure coverage of day-to-day requirements and associated equipment, movement orders, abnormal load matters and paperwork.
Ensure all vehicles leave the depot on time, and keeping customers updated on their deliveries.
Raise job requests and ensure the records for works completed are matched in preparation for invoicing.
To ensure the company maintains compliance with all regulations for the operations of LGV vehicles.
Raising job instructions, job sheets return and assisting in validation and sign off weekly timesheets.
Servicing contracts across existing client bases.
Manage the transport planners, ensuring all operations are running smoothly. Requirements
Understanding of Road Haulage Operations and compliances.
Basic haulage vehicle and plant equipment awareness
IT and software skills/knowledge
Safety, Health, and Environment Awareness, an IOSH certificate is desirable, but not a requirement.
Full UK driving license.
Ability to attain CRC clearance and attain an airside pass.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Plant and/or Haulage operations.

Salary - £45,000 - £50,000
Full uniform and PPE equipment provided.
Regular training
