Please note this is a full time role working 37.5 Hours per week. Monday - Friday, 22:00 - 06:00.
The purpose of this job is to support the operation and development of the Chemistry department.
1. Chemistry testing
2. Support the resolution of quality issues.
3. Write and review of exceptions.
4. Corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) within the laboratory setting.
5. Laboratory house-keeping.
6. Management of chemistry materials, laboratory glassware and laboratory waste.
7. Maintain laboratory log books.
8. Perform required inter-company support activities.
9. Perform LabGuard activities.
10. Support equipment calibration, qualification, and maintenance.
11. Support self-inspections.
12. Support client audits and regulatory inspections.
13. Propose and implement continuous improvements.
14. Delivery of chemistry training.
Qualifications
15. Degree in a life sciences subject, or equivalent.
16. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
17. Good understanding of GMP.
18. Demonstrates competency in work.
19. Good communication skills.
