THE ROLE
As Community Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in cultivating and expanding their Brave community — a key part of the Ancient + Brave brand. This role is integral to building meaningful connections and bringing our values to life through authentic engagement.
You'll be the daily voice of the brand across key platforms, leading conversation, encouraging user-generated content, and ensuring our followers feel seen, heard, and valued. Working closely with the Head of Brand, you'll help shape the voice of the brand in a way that sparks loyalty, trust, and emotional connection - not just on social, but across the full subscriber and customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Head of Brand you will responsible for:
Community Growth & Engagement
* Build and manage a thriving brand community across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and emerging platforms
* Proactively engage with followers, fans, and customers through comments, DMs, live moments, and UGC responses. Constantly thinking about how the brand can show up and engage in a meaningful way with potential, current and lapsed customers.
* Collaborate closely with the Customer Service team, who will manage all inbound product and order-related queries via Gorgias, to ensure there is a clear process for identifying and responding to questions and comments across all channels
* Create a sense of belonging and shared purpose around the Ancient + Brave brand —encouraging advocacy and brand loyalty
* Work collaboratively with Influencer and Social teams to support brand building & customer engagement. Utilising tools such as Sprout to identify opportunities for community engagement and activation.
Advocacy & Brand Love
* Develop and implement initiatives that turn fans into brand advocates—through surprise-and-delight, recognition, and deeper brand interaction
* Identify and nurture people from micro-communities all the way through to superfans, bringing them closer to the brand through community-first activations, events, IRL experiences and online forums
* Work closely with our Innovation + Nutrition team to manage and develop a community of subscribers within our product testing programme
Subscriber Experience & Brand Belonging
* Work closely with the digital and CRM teams to enhance the experience for our subscribers—bringing them into community-focused moments, early access campaigns, and exclusive initiatives
* Help foster a sense of belonging and connection across our customer base—finding ways to make subscribers feel like insiders, not just customers
* Partner with CRM and Brand teams to develop community-focused messaging, campaigns, and member moments
Reporting & Insight
* Track community KPIs and sentiment—reporting regularly on engagement, loyalty behaviours, and growth
* Stay on top of social trends, platform shifts, and audience insights—constantly looking for new ways to spark meaningful connection

* Experienced in community or social media management in wellness, lifestyle, beauty, or a values-driven brand
* A natural communicator with emotional intelligence, brand sensitivity, and the ability to make followers feel personally connected to the brand
