Job Description
* Conducting detailed property inspections to identify and report on disrepair issues.
* Preparing comprehensive survey reports to highlight areas requiring attention or repair.
* Working closely with construction teams to ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards.
* Communicating effectively with stakeholders regarding the status of disrepair issues and proposed solutions.
* Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations and guidelines.
* Contributing to the development of maintenance strategies for the properties.
* Providing expert advice on disrepair matters to colleagues and management as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Disrepair Surveyor should have:
* A relevant qualification in surveying, construction, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the public sector.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
* Strong knowledge of construction standards and regulations.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel as required.
