Overview
Job Description As a Project Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of our fixed network projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and vendors, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage design, planning, installation and maintenance of civil works, cable Laying and associated works for deploying long Haul, FTTH/FTTX, FDH, Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) for all fixed network projects.
* Implementation of all projects SOW, SLA, KPIs and preparation and implementation of Resources Plan, budget, business plan, Project implementation plans, risk assessment, plans, contingencies and projects delivery plans.
* Lead Project Management Department and ensure proper planning, implementation, monitoring and successful delivery of projects upto client expectations.
* Administers the project plan and ensures delivery of multiple FTTP projects to time, cost and quality in a safe and compliant way.
* Client management - including Tier 1 Contractors, Local Authorities
* Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
* Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
* Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders
* Manage project resources, including personnel and equipment
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
* Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to management.
* Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
* Monitor and track project expenses to ensure they stay within budget
* Identify and resolve any project issues or conflicts in a timely manner
* Prepare and present project reports to management and clients
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the telecommunications industry within UK.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
