Advanced Clinical Practitioner – Emergency Medicine role at NHS Scotland. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across clinical and non-clinical roles, delivering acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services. The Emergency Department in the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley, is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
The Emergency Department is a dynamic and evolving specialty. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and suitably qualified ACP to join our team. Successful applicants should be able to work well within a multidisciplinary team to deliver a high standard of patient focused care. Applicants should have high professional standards and excellent communication skills, and be self-motivated to develop their clinical skills within a supportive department with established leadership.
While busy, the department is friendly and approachable with positive relationships across the team. We are excited to welcome new members to our existing team.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to high standards of patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
* Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver timely assessment, treatment and disposition of patients.
* Develop and apply clinical skills within the scope of an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Annex 21) guidelines where applicable.
