Role Summary
The Online & Distribution finance team is part of the wider Commercial Finance team (Trading Finance, Healthcare Finance, Retail Finance, Procurement, Property & Investments Finance). As a Finance Analyst supporting Warehouse and Distribution you will provide financial analysis and support to a wide range of stakeholders including the Supply Chain Director, Finance Director, CEO of Superdrug, MD of Savers and the Warehouse and Transport Operations team.
Responsibilities
* Ownership of month end processes in relation to Warehouse & Distribution, including calculation & posting of accruals & prepayments
* Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations ensuring they are completed with a high degree of accuracy
* Analyse fleet related costs, including IFRS16 lease accounting & reconciliations
* Perform financial reconciliation work ensuring integrity between month end costs and those reported in operational trackers
* Lead weekly cost calls with DC and Warehouse teams
* Conduct contract spend analysis to support investment decisions and quarterly contract spend tracking vs plan
* Perform ad hoc analysis as required
Qualifications
* Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or relevant University degree (Accounting & Finance, Economics, Maths) with a minimum of 2:1 grade
* Experience using Excel
* Diligent with attention to detail, self‑motivated & enthusiastic
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
* Strong communication and time‑management skills
* Ability to develop strong working relationships across the business, including working with non‑finance customers and third‑party providers
